Long Covid continues to affect countless people and their loved ones. Symptoms like fatigue make it difficult for them to function in every aspect of life.
Recent research suggests that Long Covid shares similarities with chronic conditions like Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and is likely rooted in inflammation and problems with the immune system.
The Gupta Program is a brain retraining technique which has shown success in healing many chronic conditions. In this randomized controlled trial, researchers studied whether the Gupta Program could reduce fatigue in people with Long Covid, when compared to a wellness program that included changes to diet, nutrition, exercise and sleep.
The results of the study bring newfound hope to people with Long Covid: the Gupta Program led to a significant decrease in fatigue and increase in energy levels among participants after just three months. The Gupta Program was four times more effective at reducing fatigue, and increased energy by twice as much as the the control group.
These findings highlight the incredible potential of the Gupta Program to reduce fatigue and restore energy in those facing Long Covid.
