To help ourselves Retrain, can we educate people around us as to our need to have time and space?
Can your family and friends reduce the burden on you? Can they give you time to heal?
Now I have seen people say, “Oh don’t worry I’m fine, I’m fine!” and yet they look like they are about to collapse!
Sometimes we do not want to ask for help because we think it makes us look weak, or we do not want to be a burden on others.
That is definitely a “Helper” trait!
But in this case, it is really important to have space and time to heal away from those added pressures.
And look, people love helping others! You do not want to deprive people of the nice feeling when they help others, do you? So, let’s let them support us while we need that time and space to get better.
And of course, I highly recommend working with a coach for the emotional support and building of your awareness.
